As a curator and a professional oil painter, I have always believed that art has the power of healing and connecting us. In the upcoming exhibition " Emotion in Motion," I'll be curating in October 2025, I would like to raise awareness of art's profound impact on emotional healing and personal growth.
Through its diverse collection of artworks, the exhibition will serve as a dynamic platform, allowing artists to express and explore a range of emotions. It will also invite viewers to actively engage in a transformative journey of self-discovery and acceptance.
It's important to acknowledge that all emotions, whether happy or sad, are valid and should be respected. Embracing difficult emotions like anger and sadness can lead us to a path of self-discovery and healing. Remember, it's perfectly okay not to feel happy all the time.
In our society, we have been conditioned to believe that we should always be happy, which is unrealistic. We need to understand that all emotions are valid and should be honored. It's impossible to expect to be happy all the time, just as life cannot exist without both sadness and happiness. There are misconceptions about feelings of anger and sadness. When you feel sad or angry, it means your body and soul are trying to communicate with you. It's like a signal guiding you that something is not right in your life or your choices.
I would like to invite all the artists to participate and join us in art exhibition in October 2025 to acknowledge that all emotions, whether happy or sad, Embrace difficult emotions like anger and sadness, which can lead us to a path of self-discovery and healing.
